LASH LIFT TREATMENT

APPOINTMENT PREP

Once you've successfully booked your Lash Lift services, complete and submit your Lash Lift Consent Form (found above). Please arrive to your appointment completely free of makeup. (Makeup removal will result in time being taken away from the treatment and a removal fee of $25 will be added to your service.) If you wear contacts, arrive with glasses or materials to safely remove your contact lenses. Do not use a lash curler or waterproof eye makeup 24 hours prior to your appointment.

THE PROCESS

The process is relaxing in nature - you will be in a comfortable, reclined position with your eyes closed for the duration of the treatment, about 45 to 60 minutes. Headphones are encouraged to help you further relax.

There is nothing painful about this treatment! Your lower lashes will be covered for protection. A tiny silicone pad, which is used to lift your lashes, will be placed on your eyelids. Your lashes will be gently brushed back onto the silicone pad, as a water-soluble adhesive is applied. Once all lashes are brushed back and adhered to the pad, no solution will be touching your skin.

Solution 1 is applied, and will sit on your lashes from 6-10 minutes. Solution 1 is then removed and Solution 2 is applied. This processes for an additional 5 minutes. Pads with water will gently be used to remove all product from your lashes. If desired, a tint will follow.

Your lashes and eyelids will be cleansed of all product. A hydrating lash serum will be brushed through your freshly lifted lashes, and that's it!

AFTERCARE

The first 24 hours after the service is a very important time frame for your lift to be a success. Do not get your newly lifted lashes wet or apply anything to them. This includes cooking over steam, use of sauna/steam room, use of makeup, serums, or cleansers. Do not rub or pull your lashes. Avoid sleeping on your face if you can, as your lashes are prone to kinks during this timeframe. Once it is 24 hours after your service you are free to go about your beauty routines! It is best to use oil-free makeup/makeup removers and hydrating serums + mascaras.

FAQ'S

What is a lash lift?

A lash lift is a low maintenance and non-invasive way of enhancing your natural lashes that creates much longer + fuller looking lashes and an overall brighter look. The lash lift service has revolutionized old perming techniques, now using silicone pads instead of perming rods to lift, strengthen, and curl the lashes.

What is a lash tint?

A lash tint simply deepens and darkens your lash color, creating the color illusion of mascara. Tinting won’t add curl, length, or volume to your lashes when done on it's own.

Can I get one without the other?

Yes. However, both a lash lift + tint is recommended for optimal results.

Am I a good candidate for a lash lift?

This treatment may NOT be suitable for you if:

  • you have very few natural eyelashes or have a difficult time growing them

  • you are pregnant. always consult with your physician first

  • you have pre-existing eye conditions

  • you just recently got Lasik surgery

  • you are claustrophobic and will have difficulties having your eyes closed for a minimum of 45 minutes

  • you suffer from trichotillomania (compulsive pulling or twisting of hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes)

  • you have very sensitive eyes or possible allergies to solutions (patch test recommended)

  • you are generally rough with your lashes

  • you are undergoing chemo treatments or have had chemo treatments within the last year

How do I need to prep for this treatment?

Complete and submit your Lash Lift Consent Form. Arrive to your appointment completely free of makeup and without contacts in. If you use waterproof mascara, stop using at least 2 days prior to your treatment. Avoid using an eyelash curler 24 hours prior.

How long will the appointment take?

About 45 minutes to 1 hour.

What do I do post-treatment?

Not much! Don't get your lashes wet or apply anything to them for the first 24 hours. After that, you are free to go about your usual beauty routines. Always cleanse your eyes gently and with mild products. It is advised to switch to regular mascara if you are currently using waterproof. Harsh chemicals are used in waterproof formulas which dry your lashes and also cause the need for excessive tugging and pulling when trying to remove.

How long does it last/often should I get this service?

Lash lifts are permanent for the full natural growth cycle, which is typically 6-8 weeks. When the lift is fully grown out you are ready to have another lift. If you have oily skin or use a lot of oils on your face, it can break down the treatment faster and effect the longevity of your lift. There is no need for any maintenance in between appointments.

Is it safe?

It is important you receive this service by a licensed professional who is certified. We carefully and meticulously perform this service to ensure no chemicals reach your eye. The only product that comes in contact with your skin is a water-soluble lightweight adhesive. This is used to secure the silicone pads to the eyelids.

What if I don't like it?

You may book online a "Reverse" service at any time after your lift. We will gently relax the lashes to their natural state in a short amount of time.

Does the procedure hurt?

No, it is totally painless! Your eyes will be closed for the entire treatment, offering a chance of relaxation.

Will I have a reaction?

The product is carefully formulated with ingredients that are safe for use around the eye. Very few people have allergic reactions, as the only product touching your skin is a water-soluble skin-safe adhesive. You have the option to schedule a patch test prior to your appointment. This test consists of placing a small drop of product behind the ear for 15 minutes, wiping it off, then waiting 24 hours to see if any irritation occurs.

Will a lash lift damage my lashes?

No. We have all of the proper training, knowledge, and certifications to safely and successfully perform these services. It is important you follow all instructions from your technician to ensure your lashes stay healthy.

I wear contact lenses, can I get this procedure?

Yes. However, we ask that you remove them during the treatment.

Can I wear makeup after my lash lift?

Lashes should remain untouched for the first 24 hours post treatment. After that, you may go about your beauty routines. It is advised to stay away from waterproof makeup. Use oil-free makeup removers, as oil based products can effect the longevity of your lift.
